HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Long Beach CaLL’s Summer 2018 internship program connects high school students from the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) to internships with local companies and organizations. The goal of the program is to help young students from diverse backgrounds develop personal and professional skills that will help them attain success in academia and in the workforce.

Applicants:
     - Must be 16 by June 15, 2018
     - Must complete the application (see link below) by March 31, 2018
     - Must upload a resume to the application by March 31, 2018. We no longer require a letter of recommendation from students.

Please note: 1) an interview with LB CaLL will be required;  2) most internships will require that you be available from June 18 - August 25, 2018 (dates may vary, depending on school you attend and employers' requirements); 3) internships may be paid or unpaid; 4) in partnership with LBUSD, elective credits may be earned for some internships; and 5) reliable transportation to and from the internship site is necessary.
