Long Beach Career-Linked Learning (CaLL) connects students with employers to deliver high-quality work-based learning experiences that benefit both employers and our students. Our mission is to ensure all Long Beach students—from middle school to college—have access to inspiring work-based learning opportunities in growing and emerging career sectors, complementing what they learn in class, so that they gain the skills and knowledge needed to be successful members of our local economy.
What Long Beach CaLL can do for you and your students
We collaborate with teachers, faculty and administrators to provide a range of work-based learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom, including guest speakers, job shadowing, mentorships and internships.
We support your goal of developing students into critical thinkers, lifelong learners and good citizens who are empowered and able to thrive in the real world.
We are here to help you implement the work-based learning component of the Linked Learning approach both through externships for educators, as well as facilitating placements and offering support to help prepare your students to thrive in professional environments.
